Elad is a specialist Otolaryngologist – Head & Neck Surgeon with expertise in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of head and neck tumours, thyroid and salivary gland disorders, including minimally invasive endoscopic procedures. He also practices across the full spectrum of general ENT and provides comprehensive ENT care for both adults and children. Elad has been a consultant ENT surgeon at Whangārei Hospital since 2022.
He obtained his medical degree from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and completed his specialist training at Sheba Medical Center, one of the world leading hospitals. To further refine his skills, Elad undertook a subspecialty fellowship in oncologic head and neck surgery at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne, gaining extensive experience in complex tumour resections and reconstructive procedures involving the thyroid, salivary glands, oral cavity, and larynx.
Elad has a particular passion for sialendoscopy, a minimally invasive technique for treating salivary gland disorders. He is a faculty member of the International Multidisciplinary Salivary Gland Society and is among the few specialists in New Zealand offering this advanced surgical technique.
